Magesi Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of John Maduka as the team’s new Head Coach.
Maduka joins Dikwena Tša Meetse after a thorough search.
The former Malawian international will start his new job with immediate effect.
Maduka previously coached at Bloemfontein Celtic in the Free State before moving to KwaZulu-Natal, where he guided Royal AM.
He’s also played football at the highest level, becoming one of the most recognized midfielders of the Premier Soccer League [PSL] era.
Maduka starred for Bush Bucks (1996-2003), Zulu Royals (2003-2004), and Bloemfontein Celtic (2004-2009) in his heyday.
Magesi FC will introduce Maduka to the media on Thursday afternoon, 3 July 2025 in Polokwane, Limpopo.
The club welcomes Maduka to Dikwena Tša Meetse, and wish him well in guiding the team ahead of the start of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
