Over the last year, TuksSport has once again demonstrated its steadfast dedication at positioning itself as a leader in university sport globally and locally. We are rooted in a proud tradition of recognising excellence, and our commitment to both elite and recreational sport is what sets us apart.
As we approach the 2025 TuksSport Colours and Awards Evening, which takes place on Friday 24 October 2025, we need to appreciate and acknowledge that these awards showcase the talent, spirit, vision, commitment and hard work of everyone involved in our sporting ecosystem. We need to recognise the impact which University sport has on campus, in competition and beyond the boundaries of the University of Pretoria. And in recognition, some of the award categories on the evening are;

In chatting to Mr Steven Ball, Director TuksSport and CEO (acting) HPC, he stated, “At the core of our journey is a clear powerful purpose – To be meaningful in our impact, using sport as our launchpad, rooted in a values system embedded in our culture of being part of the Stripe Generation” He further continued, “Our student-athletes continue to inspire us – not only through their performances on the field, but also through their academic results”.
