More than 160 technology products priced below R5,000 are helping customers access the technology they need without compromising on choice

At the same time, technology has become an essential part of everyday life. Whether it’s a smartphone, laptop, smartwatch or connected home device, customers are looking for meaningful choice, trusted brands and flexible ways to access the technology that’s right for them.
Responding to these changing customer needs, FNB Connect now offers more than 160 technology products priced below R5,000. The range includes smartphones, tablets, wearables, gaming accessories, premium audio products, smart home devices and health technology, helping customers access the technology they need without compromising on choice.

The growing range reflects how customer technology needs have evolved beyond smartphones alone. Today, customers can choose from a broad selection of devices across multiple technology categories, with the flexibility to pay using cash, eBucks or repayment options ranging from 3 to 36 months.
Sookroo says affordability has become about much more than simply finding the cheapest device.

The range also includes 14 certified pre-owned smartphones and laptops, including iPhone XR devices from R4,499. This gives customers access to premium technology at more accessible price points and reflects growing demand for quality devices that deliver value without compromising performance.
Sookroo says people are no longer simply replacing a phone; they are increasingly looking for technology that supports different aspects of their daily lives.
“Whether it’s a laptop for studying, a smartwatch for health and fitness, a smartphone to stay connected or headphones for entertainment, customers are looking for technology that helps them work, learn, connect and enjoy more of what matters to them.” He says this shift is changing how customers think about technology purchases.
