EDDITIONAL INFO BY PEP MINI NETBALL
PEP proudly hosted a vibrant PEP Mini Netball Festival at Colin Mann Primary School in Germiston, bringing together young netball players from schools across the region for a memorable day of sport, learning and community spirit.
The festival created an exciting platform for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills through friendly matches and interactive activities designed to promote participation, teamwork and personal growth. Throughout the day, players enjoyed a positive and encouraging environment that celebrated effort, sportsmanship and the joy of the game.
Adding to the excitement was the presence of PEP Mini Netball Ambassador Dumisani Chauke, who engaged with players, coaches and supporters. His encouragement and enthusiasm inspired participants, highlighting the importance of dedication, confidence and teamwork both on and off the court.
The event forms part of the nationwide PEP Mini Netball programme, a long-standing initiative committed to developing grassroots netball across South Africa. By creating opportunities for young players to participate in organised sporting events, the programme continues to nurture talent, build confidence and foster a lifelong love for netball.
Speaking about the festival, organisers praised the energy and commitment displayed by the young athletes and expressed gratitude to the schools, coaches, parents and volunteers whose support contributed to the event’s success.
As PEP Mini Netball continues to grow, festivals such as this remain vital in creating pathways for young players to develop their skills, build meaningful connections and dream big about their future in sport.
