This evening TuksSport will celebrate our finest achievements in sport for 2025. The TuksSport Colours and Awards Evening will honour the remarkable achievements of our student-athletes, coaches, partners and the broader TuksSport community. As we head into an evening of celebration, we take time out today to acknowledge the network of professionals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the StripeGeneration – The coaches, sport scientists, medical teams. administrators and UP support services. Your efforts create an environment that allows our athletes to thrive.
13 award categories will be contested for this evening, as we will be guided by the esteemed MC, Ms Alice Khoza.
As we prepare, we are reminded that performance is far greater than one person, one team or one entity. Having a sports system is far greater than simply winning or losing. It’s about the support behind the scenes when no one is watching – It is about cutting the grass to create a safe environment, it’s about the hours put in, in the middle of the night when it is cold and dark, it’s about the silence when all is done and you are preparing to start again.
As the StripeGeneration we continue to shine on the field and beyond.
The TuksSport Colours and Awards Evening takes place this evening at 18:30 live at the UP Tuks Rembrandt Hall.
