Following the massive success of the Sappi TuksRace in February, TuksSport and the title sponsor Sappi, are excited to announce the return of the Sappi Tuks Night Race this September.
The February edition of the Sappi TuksRace drew just over 5000 entries, making it one of the biggest races on the Pretoria Calendar. Runners praised the scenic UP campus Route, festive atmosphere and strong community spirit.
Building on that momentum, the Sappi Tuks Night Race, with less than 90 days to go, will take place on the 9th of September in the picturesque grounds of the University of Pretoria, Hillcrest Sports Campus. Athletes and families can expect a safe, well-lit route and the same electric TuksSport energy that made the February’s race unforgettable.
“The Sappi TuksRace in February showed us what’s possible when sport brings a community together. Just over 5000 runners turned out and the feedback was incredible. The Night Race is our chance to do it again, but under the lights. It’s about inclusivity, fitness, and for showcasing why TuksSport stands for excellence on and off the field” said Steven Ball, Director TuksSport and CEO HPC.
“Sappi is proud to once again partner with the Tuks Night Race, building on the strong momentum and community spirit generated by last year’s event. The race aligns with our commitment to supporting active, connected communities, and we look forward to an even bigger and more vibrant experience this year.”said Michelle Le Roux, Public Relations and Marketing Lead, Sappi Southern Africa.
