The CEO OF NDLALA MALL announces another headliner for the upcoming NDLALA MALL Grand Opening

Hold on to your seats as NDLALA MALL adds on a second day for the Grand NDLALA MALL opening celebration and a new International head liner for the 22nd of August 2025.

Joe Thomas will be joining the Grand Opening as he headlines the Friday’s Grand Opening ceremony and Donell Jones heading up the Saturday’s line up. Joseph Lewis Thomas, known mononymously as Joe, is an American R&B singer. He signed to Polygram Records in 1992, and rose to prominence after releasing his debut album‘Everything’ the following year.  He followed it with a series of successful albums under ‘Jive Records’, including ‘All That I Am in 1997, the international bestseller My Name Is Joe in 2000 as well as the multi-certified albums ‘Better Days’ in 2001 and ‘And Then’  in 2003. Several songs from these albums became hit singles on the pop and R&B record charts, including the number-one hit Stutter’, the top-ten entries ‘All the Things Your Man Won’t Do , Don’t Wanna Be a Player’, and I Wanna Know’ as well as his collaborations ‘Faded Pictures’ and ‘Thank God I Found You’, the latter of which he performed alongside Mariah Carey, also a number-one hit, and ‘Still Not a Player’.

“Remember the event was initially scheduled for 2 days, this is us keeping the promise to give people an opportunity to choose their favourite,” says Ndlala.

Joe Thomas announced that he is staying after he performed at another event this past weekend. “South Africa I have a surprise for you, I am staying to support my friend Thami Ndlala,” says Thomas.
