Nominations for the 2027 season of the Woman of Stature Awards South Africa officially open in June 2026, inviting women from across South Africa who are making a meaningful impact in business, industry, entrepreneurship, and community development to enter or be nominated for one of the country’s most respected women’s recognition platforms.

The Woman of Stature Awards South Africa is intentionally shifting its narrative around recognition. The platform does not focus solely on women who are already widely known, constantly featured in the media, or established award winners. Instead, the Awards are committed to identifying and elevating women who are making a meaningful impact behind the scenes – those women whose work is transforming industries, businesses, communities, and lives without public recognition or widespread exposure.

Following a record-breaking 2026 season that received over 1,000 nominations from across South Africa, this renowned awards platform is preparing for another milestone year as it continues to honour women who lead with purpose, innovation, and influence with nominations opening in June.
Now entering its 12th season, the Woman of Stature Awards South Africa has become one of the country’s most respected recognition platforms for women in leadership, entrepreneurship, and social impact. The Awards celebrate women across a wide range of industries who are not only excelling professionally, but also contributing to economic growth, job creation, innovation, and community upliftment.
Building on the success of the regional expansion introduced during the 2026 season, the 2027 Awards will now include regional awards in several regions including Gauteng and the Western Cape, providing greater accessibility and recognition opportunities for women across different parts of the country before progressing to the national stage.
