TuksSport has positioned itself as a leader in the fields of participation in sport and managing and coaching sport. And, although we are leaders and making an impact across the African continent and globally, it all starts here at home, in the City of Tshwane also known as Pretoria. Our recognition and heightened levels of excellence are attributed to our dedicated network of professionals which include coaches, sport scientists, medical teams, administrators, and UP support services. And this collaboration has led TuksSport to being awarded the Best of Pretoria Readers Choice Awards 2025 in the category Best Sports Club/Coaching – TuksSport Indoor Sports Centre.
Best of Pretoria Record Readers’ Choice Awards have become synonymous with recognising local excellence for over a decade.
The TuksSport Indoor Sports Centre is a multifaceted facility that not only houses administrative offices, but serves as an operational complex for facility management, lecture rooms and various halls accommodating sporting codes and clubs such as gymnastics, karate, taekwondo and badminton. The Aquatics centre boasts a 12m heated indoor pool that is used for aquatots swimming and rehabilitation.
The Rembrandt Hall with its capacity of 3000 permanent seats, can accommodate 4500 people, has seen transformation from world class sport events, to formal functions such as graduation ceremonies and sport awards evenings. It houses 2 courts each for Netball, Basketball and Volleyball and 8 courts for Badminton.
The TuksSport Indoor Centre forms part of the University of Pretoria Hillcrest Sports Campus. TuksSport offers world-class facilities available for both public and internal use. Whether you’re hosting a sporting event, training session, or private function, our venues are designed to meet high-performance standards.
