Skechers RSA has strengthened its commitment to sport, performance and community development with the announcement that Proteas captain Temba Bavuma has signed on as the brand’s newest ambassador.
The partnership brings together one of South Africa’s most respected sporting leaders and a globally recognised performance and lifestyle brand, with Bavuma set to represent Skechers RSA across a range of marketing campaigns, digital initiatives and consumer engagement activities throughout the region.
Widely admired for his leadership, resilience and professionalism, Bavuma has become one of the defining figures of South African cricket. As captain of the national team, he has inspired millions through his performances on the field while serving as a role model for aspiring athletes across the country.

Through the Temba Bavuma Foundation, established in 2016, he has helped create opportunities for young people from disadvantaged communities by providing scholarships, upgrading township cricket facilities and hosting cricket clinics that offer coaching and mentorship to aspiring players.
