Clinix Health Group proudly launched the 2026 Clinix Stix Morewa Soccer Challenge, reaffirming its commitment to youth development, community empowerment and the growth of grassroots football in South Africa.
Held at Clinx Solomon Stix Morewa Memorial Hospital, the media launch brought together football administrators, community leaders, government representatives, sponsors, coaches, players, members of the media and invited guests to unveil the next edition of one of the country’s most respected community football tournaments.
The Clinix Stix Morewa Soccer Challenge honours the enduring legacy of the late Solomon “Stix” Morewa, whose passion for football and community development continues to inspire generations of young athletes. The tournament has become a platform where talented young footballers showcase their abilities, develop essential life skills and pursue opportunities both on and off the field.
Speaking at the launch, representatives of Clinix Health Group reaffirmed the organisation’s belief that sport is a powerful vehicle for social change.

Guests at the media launch received an overview of the tournament programme, competition format and key activities planned for the 2026 edition.
