Midvaal has once again been recognised as the Overall Winner at the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) Awards, taking home seven awards across multiple categories.
Midvaal received awards in the following categories for the 2024/2025 financial year:
1. Recognition as the Overall Winner for the South African Local Government Association Awards
2. Winner for Payment of Service Providers within 30 Days
3. Winner for Performance Achievement over 80%
4. Winner for Grants for Service Delivery with 100%
5. Winner for Effectively Implemented Action Plans to address Prior Year Audit Findings
6. For Achieving a Clean Audit Opinion for 2024/2025
7. 1st Runner-up for Environmental Management, and Climate Change
These awards are a testament to Midvaal’s commitment to service delivery excellence, sound financial management, and good governance.
